Animal Rescue League will offer free vaccines and microchips for cats and dogs

The Animal Rescue League of Berks County (ARL) will provide 200 HCPs/DAPPs, rabies vaccines and microchips at a free vaccination clinic to be held on Sunday, March 27, 2022, from 1 to 4 p.m. shelter at 58 Kennel Road, Birdsboro, Pennsylvania.

Microchips will be available free of charge for cats and dogs during the clinic. As spring approaches and pets spend more time outdoors, a microchip is an essential tool for reuniting pets and their owners if they get lost.

HCP vaccine is a modified live virus vaccine for vaccination of healthy cats 9 weeks of age or older as an aid in the prevention of disease caused by feline rhinotracheitis, calici and panleukopenia viruses.

DAPP 5-in-1 Canine Vaccine includes protection against distemper virus, two types of adenoviruses namely hepatitis and kennel cough, parainfluenza and parvovirus.

Upon arrival at the clinic, all dogs must be leashed and cats contained in carriers.

This vaccination clinic is made possible by a donation from Petco Love and Tina Saracino State Farm.
