A new CityVet location opened on September 13 at Windhaven Plaza at 6009 W. Parker Road, Ste. 101, Plano. This veterinary clinic offers comprehensive care for pets, including vaccinations, surgery and grooming. It also sells healthy pet food.
CityVet was founded in 1999 by Dr Chip Cannon. The clinic’s mission is to “create quality, customer-centric pet care,” according to a company statement on Sept. 13. The company is growing rapidly with 22 branded and unbranded veterinary practices, according to a September 13 release from the company.
“We believe in happy people and healthy animals, and that is why we are committed to providing the best, high quality care for every animal we treat,” said Plano CityVet chief Jamie Tomlin in a statement.
CityVet offers veterinarians the opportunity to own their clinics and improve their leadership skills, the statement said.
“Dr. Tomlin is a prime example, and we are delighted to partner with her on this new location, marking our seventh new clinic this year,” CityVet CEO David Boguslawski said in a statement.
COVID-19 security measures are in place at the clinic. Clients are encouraged to make an appointment, but walk-in visits are accepted. An appointment can be made by calling 469-676-3000.
