TUKWILA, WASH. – Darwin’s Natural Pet Products, a brand of raw, minimally processed pet food, announced May 3 that it is partnering with Harmony Fund to raise $20,000 to support animal rescue organizations in Ukraine.
The pet food company has raised funds from over 300 donors, matching up to $10,000 for a total of over $20,000+.
“We are pleased with the speed and scale of the response, but frankly, knowing what our Darwin family thinks of animal welfare around the world, we are not surprised,” said Gary Tashjian, CEO of Darwin’s. “The donations keep coming in and Harmony Fund has been a great partner in getting these funds to the animals and field volunteers in need.”
Harmony Fund used Darwin’s donations to rent a vehicle and travel from kyiv to Bucharest to distribute pet food and veterinary supplies to those in need. Several other organizations have helped distribute donations to pet owners and shelters in need and support adjacent animal rescue efforts, including Breaking the Chains, Sache Vet Clinic, TobiHelpUA, Help for UA Animals, and Centarus Foundation.

Thanks to the generosity of Darwin’s and its customers, thousands of at-risk dogs and cats in Ukraine will be free from hunger. until the end of May with our next delivery.
