Kentucky Tornado Relief: Supply Propulsion Underway; here is the list of the necessary articles, the deposit sites

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Following the devastation caused by the tornadoes in Kentucky, many people across Clarksville are looking for ways to help.

Beaver 100.3 FM, Clarksville Now and the rest of 5 Star Media Group are teaming up with several area businesses and YAIPak Outreach to collect supplies that will go straight to those in need.

Here is the list of supplies we are looking for:

  • Heavy-duty bins with lids (for community storage)
  • Large tarpaulins
  • Heavy-duty zip fasteners
  • Batteries all sizes
  • 40V Max Kobalt AH battery / charger
  • Shovels
  • Heavy rakes
  • Wrecking bar
  • Wheelbarrows
  • Crow feet
  • Clorox Wipes
  • Hammers
  • Nails
  • Screws
  • Phone chargers
  • Power supplies
  • Pet food
  • Baby supplies
  • New clothes
  • Blankets
  • Freshly washed coats
  • Gray adhesive tape
  • Large Sharpie Markers (Black)
  • heating buddies
  • Boys’ clothing, all sizes (new only)
  • New underwear, all sizes

Note that only new clothes are accepted and that all donated material must be in good condition. Relief sites do not have the capacity to sort or dispose of used materials in poor condition.

  • Thursday, December 16, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m .: Patriot Chevrolet in Hopkinsville, 4401 Fort Campbell Blvd., Hopkinsville, KY
  • Friday, December 17, 11 a.m.-2 p.m .: Toyota of Hopkinsville, 4395 Fort Campbell Blvd., Hopkinsville, KY
  • Monday, December 20, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m .: Altra Federal Credit Union, 2625 Wilma Rudolph Blvd, Clarksville, TN
  • Tuesday, December 21, 11 a.m.-2 p.m .: Cadiz Antique Mall, 34 Main St, Cadiz, KY, and 3 p.m.-6 p.m., HR Agri-Power, 1700 Nashville St, Russellville, KY

You can also purchase a gift card from Walmart, Food Giant, or Kroger. If you can’t make it to one of our supplies drives, you can drop them off at our main studios during business hours at 1640 Old Russellville Pike, Clarksville, TN.
