Lix teams up with Rio Grande Service Center | News

LIX, a Canby, Oregon-based holistic pet wellness company, has partnered with regional pet products distributor Rio Grande Service Center. Based in New Mexico, Rio Grande Service Center has been a pet food and supply distributor for 35 years and covers Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming and Texas. This new partnership will continue the expansion of LIX’s product line from the Pacific Northwest into Southwest markets, company officials said.

“After rapid growth with our current distributor in the Pacific Northwest, we are excited to announce this partnership with Rio Grande Service Center, which will help us meet growing customer demand in the Southwest region for our products,” said LIX co-founder Erin Hills. “It is crucial for us to serve our retail customers efficiently and effectively with a partner who shares our passion for providing the highest quality options to their retail partners as well.”

The partnership coincides with the launch of the company’s “Large Breed” collection of products, specifically formulated for large dogs and other large animals.

“Large Breed” offers the highest quality, most milligram products on the market for animals with a 2500 milligram ELIXIR, 40 milligrams per BITE soft chew and a larger 3 ounce container of HEALER, a healing balm without perfume.

“We created LIX to fill a void in the market and grow a community of pet wellness experts with the help of our brilliant retailers who understand the benefits of [cannabidiol] CBD and cannabinoids as an addition to a pet’s current daily wellness regimen. The overwhelmingly positive response reinforces this major need,” added Kirstan Sanders, co-founder. “Our goal is always to expand our offering to holistic pet supply and wellness retail stores by partnering with savvy and smart wellness-focused regional distribution services, and we we have in the southwest with our partnership with Rio Grande.”
