Pet of the Week: Doodle

Meet Doodle! He’s Heart of the Rockies Radio’s Pet of the Week!

Doodle is a 12 year old domestic shorthair mix who was brought in as a stray found in Salida in May this year. He has an incredibly sweet and calm demeanor that could win over any visitor.

Unfortunately, Doodle is FIV positive and therefore needs to go to a home with no other cats, or a home with only other FIV positive cats. FIV, feline immunodeficiency virus, is an autoimmune disease that makes cats have a harder time fighting off disease and may need more care if they get sick. FIV cats can live normal lives with proper care and love from their owners!
