As prices continue to rise, people are looking for ways to save or make money. Here is a list of thrift stores, consignment stores, and flea markets that can help.

There’s even a second-hand bakery to take your dough a little further.

New County of Hanover

Support League of Greater Wilmington Thrift Shop: 420 Eastwood Road, Wilmington. Includes unique merchandise – gently used and never worn clothing, household items, books, furniture, collectibles, jewelry, sporting goods, kitchen gadgets, artwork, tools, craft and hobby supplies, linens, glassware and more. 10am-4pm. Wilmington Bargain Box: 213 Princess Place Drive, Wilmington. A high-end flea market, is a local ministry of the Church of the Servant, Episcopal. All net proceeds from the sale of donated items are donated to the community. The non-profit thrift store sells clothing, jewelry, shoes, handbags, home décor, linens, and housewares for men, women, and children. 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.

Cape Fear Habitat for Humanity ReStore: Donation centers accept household items, furniture, building materials, etc. Items are resold to help support Habitat’s mission of affordable homes in the community.

Goodwill Industries of Eastern NC Inc.: A long-running non-profit chain with a range of second-hand clothing, homewares and more. The stores are open from 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.

PAWS Resale Store: 5941 Carolina Beach Road, Wilmington. PAWS’ mission is to support local relief organizations by raising funds through the sale of donated goods – home decor, gently used furniture, pet supplies, jewelry, beach items, puzzles and board games. Communities in school thrift stores: There are four stores Stores benefit from Brunswick County Schools Community Programs and Action for Success dropout prevention programs. All stores are open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Saturday. The Boiling Spring Lakes and Southport stores are also open from noon to 4 p.m. on Sundays.

Organized on Castle Vintage Market: The flea market opens from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. every second Saturday from March to November, located at 604 Castle St, Wilmington. This multi-vendor vintage market sells everything from clothing and vinyl records to home decor and more.

Monkey Junky: 3041 N Kerr Ave., Wilmington. Over 60 different vendors selling earrings, clothing, furniture, and homewares from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

Sea Glass Monthly Market: 5601 Castle Hayne Road, Castle Hayne. Is an indoor market that features over 50 local artists and artisans selling handmade, homemade, resold and retail items. The place is open the third weekend of each month, except for the first and third weekends of November and December. Open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. from July 15 to 17.
