BUCKHANNON – A local non-profit organization that focuses on animal awareness is running a “Spaytacular” Black Friday deal to area cat owners. Animal Outreach Project, Inc. receives over 3,000 requests for sterilization and sterilization assistance per year. Since 2015, they have helped over 2,500 sterilizations and sterilizations.

AOP has received a grant from the VM Department of Agriculture over the past few years and recently received the grant from the Doris Day Animal Foundation.
This year, during the Spaytacular sale, they are offering $ 5 sterilizations and $ 10 sterilizations, limited to one person per household. To be eligible for this special Black Friday deal, individuals must provide two proofs of income, one being a form of government assistance that includes a paycheck stub, income tax return, SSI statement, or statement of income.
